John Burton Speaks at Techselect meeting in Austin TX
Austin, TX – May 28, 2003
Network Performance Inc. announces that John Burton of Network Performance Inc (NPI), a South Burlington company, was invited to speak at the recent Tech Data TechSelect conference in Austin, Texas. The conference included 150 targeted top level Small Business executives, vendor partners, service providers, and Tech Data executives. NPI was invited to join the TechSelect group last year as the only representative from Vermont. The Business Management Workshop in which Burton participated was titled "Creating Demand for Solutions through Proactive Marketing." He focused on how NPI's work for the Vermont Children's Aid Society on Martin Luther King Day of this year served first as a way for NPI to give back to the community, and second as a way for the community to become more aware of NPI. Burton encouraged companies around the country to look for similar projects where a need in the community would be filled by a donation of their expertise. John Burton lives in South Burlington with his wife Debbi. They are both UVM alumni and have 2 grown children.
