January 11, 2002
Network Performance Inc (NPI) is pleased to announce a significant donation of services to assist Spectrum Youth and Family Services with its mission to help Vermont youth. The offices of NPI will be closed on Martin Luther King Day (Monday, January 21st) and the entire staff will work to improve and upgrade the computer configurations at the Burlington offices of Spectrum. This effort represents over 100 hours of skilled technical services. Each computer will be updated and fine-tuned to maximize performance and help with the Spectrum mission. This effort is one part of NPI's ongoing mission to work with local community services.
Will Rowe, Executive Director of Spectrum, says, "Martin Luther King knew that communication was a necessary condition for achieving understanding and respect... We are very grateful to Network Performance for their very generous donation of equipment and expertise, an estimated value of $10,000, to help Spectrum increase its capacity to communicate. NPI has taken time, on Martin Luther King Day to donate their expertise to Spectrum to improve our technology and thereby improve our capacity to help the young people we work with."
