Network Performance Tours Vermont with Innovative Security Seminar

South Burlington, VT – May 30, 2003

Network Performance Inc. announces the completion of a regional seminar tour entitled "Innovations in Computer Network Security" with the goal of better educating businesses on the variety of options available to protect their mission-critical tools: e-mail, Internet connectivity, and networks. The discussion included an overview of the types of attacks that a company might encounter: viruses and worms, social engineering, blended threats and hackers to name a few. Eric Hart, a partner at NPI, ran the seminars in Burlington, Montpelier, White River Junction, Brattleboro, Rutland, and Albany (NY). As a leading security issue expert, Hart has consulted with many of the largest financial, legal, and manufacturing firms in the region and has attained coveted certifications from Cisco, Check Point, and Novell. Each seminar was of limited size to allow for Mr. Hart to answer questions and gather feedback. Approximately 80 corporate representatives attended in total. NPI plans on offering more seminars in the future, especially dealing with the problems created by, and the solution for, e-mail spam.
